Ken Carpenter:
I played first chair trumpet in high school; switched to drums my first year at UNM. I drummed for all original band “Solid State.” Then the for “Illegal Aliens”; then cover band “Good Grief.” I then switched to guitar and formed “Blue Spirits” and finally my current band “Ken Carpenter and the Nailers.” Recently I’ve started incorporating playing the trumpet our performances. Currently I also play drums for the Duke City Ramblers.
